I’m hiring two poultry flocks—one of chickens and one of ducks—both to be raised on pasture, protected by electronet fencing and added “muscle” from some guardian geese. I’ve researched and compiled a list of heritage breeds (some critically endangered) selected for forage and free-range aptitude, temperament, hardiness, and egg-laying ability.
